Bonjour tout le monde! Trip buddy: Patricia Ongpin (from AIESEC Calgary, was on MC in Macedonia)
Geneva Switzerland in a nutshell: city was very nice and the Swiss French I found here are much nicer than the Paris or France French people I guess (form what I remember from paris trip many years ago).
Eating out is very expensive but buying groceries and other things actually are not that bad; they say Geneva is the most expensive city in the most expensive country - either I'm getting used to European prices, or it really isn't that bad.
You CAN walk all the main sites in the city in one day easily. There IS NO night life at all, the city is completely dead.
Swiss Army knives are cheap. Not sure about watches, but I would assume they are too since it is "le cite du temps" (the city of time)
Verbier and the Swiss Alps are amazing! (but conditions were like spring) and it was sweet pulling out the French again. I was surprised how much I remembered considering I haven't used it in so long.
