One of my favourite brands (haha yup already have one!) coming out of the Netherlands (designed in Haarlem actually, minutes outside of Amsterdam) is Kuyuichi, a fair trade organic cotton clothing company. Their stuff is expensive, but very well designed, but the innovation of course not on par with oqoqo. If only oqoqo incorporated some design elements from these guys and also did the fair trade would be sweet! There's a store, nukhuiva, that's about a 15 minute walk from the boat on Haarlemerstraat (definitely one of my favourite streets in A'dam (has that chill, 17th ave (hah yup wiki'd this) feel, but way way better)) and I've been in there every week to see what's new as I always walk by when going to the centre on the weekends. I wouldn't be there otherwise, but since January is a month of intense sales, everything was half off! Got me a pair of jeans, a bag and a shirt here.
One of the girls even recognizes me now and knows be my name - not a good sign! And still I wonder why I had -7 Euros in my bank account at the end of the month.
