LD5

Day 4: New Years eve, in the morning we went to Oxford Street and Regent Street, claimed as one of the world's busiest and largest shopping streets to get souvenirs and such (and for me to exchange stuff)) - this I could support, well busy wise and the mass of crowds was overwhelming.

I of course was given the run around from Boss shop to Boss shop trying to exchange this ring I bought that was the wrong size and I finally did (but took only 4 hours) where as Rita and Tina headed over to Camden for London's outdoor market.

At night, went to East Indian restaurant (supposedly very good in London - and it was!!) for new year's eve dinner. The odd thing is the restaurant was completely empty but we went in anyways cause they advertised a special 5-course meal (if I remember) for new years for a price of 14 pounds! There was sooo much food and they even threw in free dessert and the service was exceptional. When we were leaving, the owner went up to us and asked us why we ate there, we thought it odd, but then found out they just opened which could explain why it was empty.
Headed back to Fang's which is at the Loverpool station stop btw (i think the word liverpool is very english), met up with some of her flat mates and then went to see fireworks. Unfortunately from the bridge we were standing on, most of them were blocked but good energy anyways.
Headed home at about one as I had my flight the next morning. Thanks fang for taking us around and thanks to my cuz and Tina for being such low maintenance and great company! Will definitely return (if I can afford it) and maybe actually go to many of London's free museums. Cheers!
