substitute for my watch?

Today I added another piece of jewelery to my snowboard thingy for my neck - it's a sundial! I think sundials are the coolest things (yes call me geeky) and since my watch was stolen I can use this to tell time - now which way 's north? And where's the sun? bought this piece while was in eze about one week ago,
