V day 2

Alright Day 2 started off with us waking up at ten, and then we got some lunch in Venice and then meet up with the local at one pm. Let's just say that since this was a Saturday and it being the last weekend of carnival, it was packed!

When we met up with our local, the day's interary was to go to see the Rialto bridge, get faces painted for those who wanted it, market, St. Marco's, dinner and then party till dawn! Met up with Domenico again and this time met a bunch of great aiesec people and trainees! Had guys from Portugal, Spain, Germany, US, Bulgaria and many parts of Italy (and many more though didn't get a chance to meet everyone.
After meeting everyone, we set off to wind through the streets!

Since it was so crowded, getting through the narrow alleys in the main walk ways was a pain but luckily most people were patient.

Domenico is behaving for once and able to stand still.

Dinner time was great! Met Vlad and his girlfriend Laura, and also sat at a table with Renaldo (one of the Portuguese trainees). dinner was ice because when we got wine and pasta, I thought that was the meal; little did I know that the pasta was only the first course, as we ended up getting an appetizer after this, then chicken, fish, pork chops paired with red and white wine. I looooooove the food in this country - it rocks!

After dinner, we clumped together to go to parties, but of course as the night goes on, many of the groups lost each other (a very easy thing to do in the city. We hung out at two or three parties, the first one outdoors with live singers, and then we went to St. Marco's to have some Bellini's and possible meet up with others (does not work wee)

Then much much later in the night we went to another party where there was a DJ outdoors and the party was right by the canals.
We stayed here until about 4 am - it was one SICK party, and then going home by following other people worked sweet as a map would have been useless. Played some great music! some new and old school!

ps. Hot Wine is GREAT.
