So my journey consists of going to Jonkoping but basically taking three trains and one bus. there was a direct train but that would've cost 490 Kr where as this insanely connected commute costs 290 Kr. And it's a bonus to see the country side by train
Swedish trains are by far the nicest (X2000) and the cleanest I've seen and also one of the most organized as on the internet you can choose what kind of seat you want (table, quiet, internet, window, aisle etc...) all from the point of ordering. The country side definitely reminded me of home but was even nicer to see it by train. and these things are fast... I don't remember having to 'pop' my ears so many times...
By the time I arrived, Jer picked me up at the train station and walked back to his place. His team/roommate was already hard at work getting dinner ready as they too were having guests over.

By the time the night ended it was already 3am (time flies when you have alcohol and Swedish girls over :)
The night before the girls mentioned they were going to make up a storm of pancakes and insisted we go over - well can't say no to that! After a hearty breakfast of Swedish pancakes and home made coffee, went for a run with Jer and took in the sites along the way.

stopped for a beer in the middle of the run. nice.
After the run, rested awhile and then the boys volleyball team (HABO volley) was having a tequila party that started at 4pm hosted by one the board members of the team (Jens; pronounced; 'yens'). All I can say is it was a party full of dudes... but luckily lots of alcohol at the party and good spirited Swedish kids.

by about 11pm or so, headed to the after party at Karlsson's which I learned that one of the board member's recently bought out.

Karin and Maria were attending a birthday party but we ended meeting up with them by the end of the night and then crashed at about 3 or 4am.

Woke up late next day, caught some breakfast at a nearby cafe, then the boys studied for a few hours as I dove into a book I was reading. Headed to the mall with the girls in the middle of the day as they had a shopping crave and then had some coffee with them afterwards (same place where we had breakfast). For diner had some interesting food that could kill the heart but was finger-lickin good nevertheless. Watched a submarine movie and then crashed after that.. it was a very low key Sunday which was what we were all aiming for.

Then next day woke up at 8am and left to catch the train back to Stockholm and then hung around the city, browsed the shops and then flew back to the A'dam by 5pm! All in all a great trip! Met lots of people and would definitely return to Scandanavia to explore a little more!
