Day two had us waking up at 7:30 to make "mike's Bike tours" to the Alps and Neuschwanstein castle. The tour was pretty cool with bus out to the mountains, bike rental and guided tour to the lake, and the waterfall hike up to the castle. What was gross was the company which was all North Americans, and then all of a sudden I became one of those people I hate that swarm Amsterdam in flocks. I don't know, there was something about tourists, American tourists usually (not all) that have this sense that they are the greatest people in the world and the way they talk and portray themselves completely encompasses that; there was actually a young Canadian couple as well so can't say all Canadians are model as well. Never again will I join those tours out here in Europe. but the scenery and everything else was breath taking.

After the lake, headed back to the base and had lunch. We packed a lunch with tuna salad and some other tuna in some olive oil... it tasted great and smelled like shit and the oil got through the bread and inside the bag and got on some of our clothes... I will never forget that smell along with the heat in the bus... bleh.

costs of castle tour was not included in tour, but I promised myself no more castle tours as long as I am in Europe. Too many from London, Dublin, Belgium and I haven't even touched Luxembourg yet. After, we got dropped off at 7pm and met up with Markus who got us some Butter Bretzel (complicated process in the movie below) then we went out for some beers at an outdoor garden to enjoy the weather and then had a late night dinner!

We ordered one gigantic beer and a water for the lady. We split the beer, but I have to say the German had a greater share than I did.

"... two balls and a carrot?!?!?...."
